This family-friendly event is one of the most anticipated summer events in the neighborhood with activities for all ages plus great food and beverages. Event starts at 7:30 p.m. with food and games at Thornton Creek School, between NE 80th and NE 77th St at 42nd Ave NE. Movie starts just after dusk (9:30ish). The film will be Bend it Like Beckham, a sweet sports comedy with plenty of heart (PG-13). For Mars Hill attendees, there will be a flier available of the film’s narrative themes and spiritual truths.
