Resurgence: Biblical Parenting-Shepherding a Child's Heart Conference

Mars Hill is hosting a Resurgence conference titled “Biblical Parenting” on September 19th and 20th. The conference will feature Ted Tripp, author of the popular parenting book “Shepherding a Child’s Heart.” The goal of this conference is to equip parents from Mars Hill and the wider Christian community with sound, biblical parenting tools.

Friday will include two sessions: “The Call to Formative Instruction” and “Giving Children a Vision for the Glory of God.” The first session focuses on applying Scripture as the root of all instruction rather than merely correcting behavior. The second session focuses on pointing to the glory and goodness of God as the object of every child’s worship.

The conference will be live at Ballard and broadcast by satellite to Bellevue, Lake City, Shoreline, and West Seattle. Registration is $35/couple at the main campus in Ballard, and $25/couple at the satellite campuses. Singles are $25 at Ballard and $15 at satellite campuses. Details and registration links are available at http://theresurgence.com/shepherding_a_childs_heart_conference.
